How is The VI Peel Performed?
To begin the treatment, the skin will be cleansed and prepped for the procedure. The peel mixture is then evenly applied to the skin and left on for a specific period of time depending on your skin type. This medium-depth peel may leave the skin somewhat red and sensitive and any skin peeling may occur within 3-6 days.
Recovery
Post treatment, you should take extra care to protect your skin from sun exposure. Any redness or sensitivity should subside with 24 hours. Any peeling associated with the treatment will typically start and resolve within a week. For best results, a treatment series may be recommended by your practitioner.
